Community rallies as fire causes devastation

Wednesday 23rd March saw tragedy unfold in the lives of two elderly brothers in Jenkinstown, six miles outside Kilkenny City when a fire broke out in their family home, completely destroying the residence and all its contents. The fire also took the life of one of the brothers, Oliver Brennan, who was not able to escape the flames. Dominic (or more commonly known as Dom), the remaining brother, is left with absolutely nothing and a Go Fund Me Page has been set up to raise funds to help Dom rebuild his life. The family members involved in organising the fund-raising appreciate that everyone is under financial strain at the moment, including contributing to the welfare of Ukrainian citizens who have arrived in Ireland as a result of the dreadful war in their country. We want to assure all contributors to our Go Fund Me Page that all contributions will be greatly appreciated.

*A little help will go a long way*
