RETAIL SALE of essential items for the health and welfare of animals, including animal feed and medicines, animal food, pet food and animal supplies including bedding may remain open, Government has said.
Petmania Kilkenny is assuring customers that it will remain open throughout the crisis and is now offering a carry-to-car-service to help customers get essential supplies safely and maintain social distancing.
Simply call the local Petmania store to place your order and staff will deliver to the car and place it in the boot.
Emily Miller of Petmania Ireland told The Kilkenny Observer:
“Many of our customers have expressed concern that our stores will close and they may be without essential health and nutritional supplies to care for their pers.
“We reassure customers that we will remain open through this difficult time and we are strictly following sanitation guidelines recommended by the HSE.”
Petmania customers will also be welcomed into the store, with careful social distancing measures in place to protect the public and staff.
For those who wish to distance themselves further, Petmania is offering the carry-to-car-service.
In line with advice from the Government Petmania took the difficult decision to temporarily suspend its grooming services from March 22.
However the Irish owned pet-retailer will continue to remain open and support customers’ pet care needs throughout the emergency.
Petmania encourages all dog-owners to maintain a daily at-home brushing regime to help keep a dog’s coat in good condition
