The countdown is on! There are only a few days left before the highly anticipated kick-off of Savour Kilkenny, Ireland’s premier food festival. Don’t miss out on enjoying some of the festival’s special events at this gastronomic extravaganza that promises a weekend full of culinary delights and family fun.

This October Bank Holiday weekend, the streets of Kilkenny will come alive as Savour Kilkenny Food Festival celebrates the diversity and richness of Irish cuisine. With renowned chefs, food producers, local businesses, and food enthusiasts coming together, the festival aims to showcase the best of Ireland’s food industry and foster a deeper appreciation for the culinary arts.

“We are thrilled to invite everyone to join us for the Savour Kilkenny Food Festival,” said Ger Mullally, Festival Chairperson. “This year’s festival promises to be our best yet, with a line-up of amazing events that will satisfy all tastes and ages.”

With the weekend packed to the brim with exciting activities, there is something for everyone in the family. From cooking demonstrations and tastings to foodie workshops, attendees can immerse themselves in a culinary wonderland.

Those interested in attending some of the Festival’s special events are encouraged to secure their tickets as soon as possible to avoid disappointment. With limited availability, this is truly the last chance to experience the magic of this renowned food festival.

Dining events begin on October 26th, with the Savour Market, Cookery Demos, Talks & Family Entertainment taking place on Saturday 28th and Sunday 29th October.

Monday 30th will play host to the second edition of Madra Monday and a Rewilding talk with Wildacres.

Entry to the Savour Market, Cookery Demos and talks are free! Dining events and special events are individually priced.

There are limited tickets still available for the following events:

• Dance & dine at the brasserie with dancing with the stars judge Brian Redmond.

• Rewilding – creating diverse habitats on your land with Brian O’Toole of Wildacres.

• Savour(ing) art at Butler Gallery – Gallery visits & guided tours.
