Danema Fundraising Group presented a cheque for €26,000 to Jessica O’Leary, Head of Fundraising at Crumlin Children’s Hospital on Saturday 24th January at an event organised by the committee and held at The Glendine Inn, Castlecomer Road, Kilkenny. A great night of celebration was had by all. Raffle winners on the night included Richard Delaney, Kieran Mooney, Marie Healy, Trish O’Reilly, John Corr, Helena Smith x 2, Sheila Ramsbottom, Mike Hanley, Francis O’Brien, Peter Doheny, Helen Ivochler, Aaron Doheny and Peter Shea.
We would like to thank the Glendine Inn for giving us the use of their premises and for the food supplied on the night. Thanks also to Micheál Brophy for supplying the entertainment. A huge thanks to Davy Jones Fitness for the donation of the first raffle prize of €500 voucher. Thanks to everyone else who provided prizes for the raffle.
Since the establishment of the Danema Group in 1999, a total of €396,000 has been raised and presented to Crumlin Children’s Hospital. All of this money is helping Crumlin with their goal of saving the lives of critically ill children.
We would like to thank everyone who helped out in any way with our fundraising over the years. It is a great achievement.
