Clay Rooms official opening

Clay Rooms Kilkenny will be officially opened by Malcolm Noonan TD on Saturday April 30th at 2.00pm.

Clay Rooms Kilkenny is a new ceramics teaching studio right in the heart of Kilkenny city in Colliers Lane Kilkenny.

Aisling McElwain, Liselott Olofsson and Niamh Synnott opened the doors of Clay Rooms Kilkenny in January 2022.

They want to share their passion of ceramics with the community of makers, from curious beginners to the more experienced practitioner by offering classes in both throwing on the potters wheel and hand building.

At Clay Rooms Kilkenny day and evening classes are offered with opportunities to try out a wheel in our taster sessions or make a mug in a one off hand building workshop to longer more intense 6 week courses.

Clay Rooms Kilkenny is a light filled specially designed space for clay and makers will be guided through the process of making using top of the range equipment.

Please join Aisling,Liselott and Niamh to celebrate their new space and meet the community of makers in Kilkenny.
