See Darina Allen, Rachel Allen & Rory O’Connell for free as they bring Ballymaloe to Kilkenny this October bank holiday weekend


Savour Kilkenny welcomes the Ballymaloe trio of Darina Allen, Rachel Allen & Rory O’Connell to the Savour Stage as part of a stellar line-up of Cookery Demos by top Irish Chefs this October Bank Holiday weekend.

On Saturday 28th and Sunday 29th of October, nestled in the heart of the 100 stall Savour Market, overlooked by Kilkenny Castle, the Savour Stages will showcase the culinary talent of the highly acclaimed Kevin Dundon, King & Queen of Savour Edward Hayden & Anne Neary, zero waste kitchen advocate Conor Spacey, Kai restaurant’s Jess Murphy, and the Cupcake Bloke Graham Herterich. With demonstrations by up-and-coming Chefs Caomhán De Brí and Sarah Browne, no fuss cook Maria Harte, zero waste wedding guru Orla McAndrew, and the Spice Guru Arun Kapil. Plus a patisserie masterclass with Mount Juliet’s Tom Phelan. There is something for every taste and ability!

Alongside the top Chefs, Irish Olympian Derval O’Rourke will be chatting about eating healthy and affordably with frozen food and Nathalie Lennon will be discussing food as fuel for exercise. Wellness Warrior Catherine O’Keefe and latin-American Chef Jeeny Maltese will be helping you with tips and tricks to beat brain fog and Dr. Sinéad McCarthy will be discussing the food pyramid through a sustainability lens.

Festival stalwarts and MCs Edward Hayden and Siobhan Donohoe promise great craic as they guide you through the fun, informative and tasty demonstrations! Entry is free to both stages and open to the public on a first come first served basis. Seats fill quickly!
