Final Countdown to #careerskilkenny on February 3rd


Final preparations are now underway for careerskilkenny2024 which is taking place on Saturday 3rd February in St. Canice’s Cathedral.

Led by Kilkenny County Council  #careerskilkenny aims to showcase the volume and variety of high-quality jobs on offer in Kilkenny City and County both now and in the future, and highlight the advantages that Kilkenny offers as a location to live and work. The event will offer attendees a chance to engage directly with representatives from top companies in Kilkenny who will be on hand to answer queries about the roles and opportunities on offer.

As the countdown to the event is on the itinerary for the day is now finalised.

  • Doors open at 10am when representatives from more than 30 Kilkenny City and County based companies will be on hand to describe the roles on offer and answer questions.
  • Guest speaker Dermot Whelan takes to the stage at 11am to discuss Managing Stress and Making it Work for You.
  • Optimize Recruitment are offering clinics on CV writing and Interview Skills at 10.30am, 12 midday and 1pm.

The event runs until 2pm and is free of charge.
