Some of you will be familiar with the Fabu brand. You may have seen it on the shelf in your local store. Did you know that this is an Irish brand formulated and developed by Laura Dowling? Laura is a scientist and an award-winning pharmacist and is passionate about the healing powers of the plant world. Each of her formulations combines just six to eight powerful key ingredients. These can include plants, herbs, and mushrooms from across the world.
Laura has several products in her range. My favourite is R&R Relax; I like the name. It contains Ashwagandha, Lemon balm, Chamomile, L-Theanine, Magnesium, B5 and B12. It is a lot like other supplements on the market but I think it is fantastic to have an Irish brand amongst them. It is designed to help with preparing for sleep, and to support energy throughout the day. I decided to trial it, I didn’t need it for sleep, but if you do, take two tablets one or two hours before bed. I used it for day time stress and only when I needed it. I like this idea, that I don’t have to take it every day to get results. It worked very well for occasional stress and anxiety. Customers who have bought it for sleep are happy with it and have reported good results to me. That is always good news.
Our customer’s favourite is Fabu Shrooms, Meno Peri. In fact, it was our customers who first drew our attention to it. It contains mushrooms, vitamins, and minerals. Laura formulated this product to help women who are on the perimenopause/menopausal journey. It supports the regulation of hormonal activity, metabolism, psychological function and reduces tiredness and fatigue. It can be combined with R&R for tiredness associated with the Menopause.
