Saddle Up Success for Down Syndrome Kilkenny

300 cyclists set off from Danesfort GAA Club on Sunday, May 11th, in support of the second annual Saddle Up for Down Syndrome Kilkenny charity cycle. The event raised funds for the local, parent-led organisation that provides essential services to children and adults with Down syndrome across County Kilkenny.

Organisers say they are on track for their funding target of €80,000 thanks to the generosity of the community and its charity partner, the Z Zurich Foundation, which has pledged to match fund monies raised through donations and registrations for the event.

In the afternoon, the activities continued with a sun-drenched family-fun day with music, soft play, and cycling activities. Those who wish to support the charity can donate to the charity on iDonate.
