Bishop Niall Coll was present at St Mary’s Cathedral on Sunday 27th April for the Memorial Mass in Thanksgiving for the Life and Ministry of Pope Francis. The deeply moving liturgy drew a large gathering of faithful who came to honour the legacy and spiritual leadership of the Holy Father. Bishop Coll offered words of reflection and comfort, acknowledging Pope Francis’s profound global impact and his enduring message of mercy and inclusion. A Book of Condolences is now open in the cathedral, and the faithful are warmly encouraged to sign it as a gesture of respect, remembrance, and gratitude for Pope Francis’s life and ministry.
